Not for the faint of heart. This full day V6/V8 racing experience at Taupo's premier race track will put you in the drivers seat of both a Holden HQ & VY racecar, for 30-40 laps including burning hotlaps in a GTO Monaro. The ultimate speed demons dream.
We start the day off with an introductory white board session, explaining the track and basics of car handling while you meet the team. After being fitted out in your helmet and driving suits its out to the track where your first drive takes place in a Holden HQ racecar. Once you have learnt the basic drive lines and braking points, you take the wheel put your new found skills to the test as you push the pedal to the floor in an attempt to achieve your fastest lap time.
After you catch your breath we step up a level to a Holden VY racecar and take you through the differences in handling before we let you loose on the track again while providing hints all the time to continue to shave further time off your laps.
Finally jump into the passengers seat of our GTO Monaro to experience some burning hotlaps at speed driven by one of our professional drivers. This experience is guaranteed to leave you short of breath!
