Drivers Day

Experience a drive in a Holden or Ford V8 race car on Taupo's International race circuit. This is your chance to actually drive a V8 racecar for 6 or 10 laps (dependant on the track used on the day)! Your instructor will help you master the art of race driving while you experience the thrill usually reserved for seasoned professionals.

Be welcomed to our state of the art race facility and enjoy a complimentary coffee. After a brief introduction one of our nationally qualified instructors will run through the theory of racing then its out to the track where your race team will kit you up in race gear including race suit, gloves, boots and helmet.

Start your driving experience with a familiarisation lap driven by one of our professional drivers to learn the turns and corners of the track. Also you are welcome to bring one other spectator along for this lap to give them a taster of what driving a V8 is like.

The real racing begins as you strap in for your 6 or 10 laps (dependant on the track used on the day) as you push the pedal to the metal in an attempt to put yourself on our leaderboard of the top 30 times for the year. Fly over the finish line and receive your presentation folder including detailed printouts of your lap times, certificate and A4 photo.

You can also choose to combine this experience with our Formula Car Challenge to save $100 and experience a whole day of adrenalin filled action
